For the past several years each December, I’ve gathered a posse of Ya-Yas and headed off to The California Center for the Arts in Escondido to see Carols by Candlelight. I have never been disappointed. As I’ve mentioned before, there is no shortage of Buck and BB fans around my house, and they will be performing this year, which I’m eagerly waiting to enjoy. In addition to Buck and BB, Steve Vaus Productions (the man under the Buck Howdy hat) has managed to line up a couple of star-studded evenings filled with song. But there’s more than great singing and entertainment at Carols by Candlelight. There is a palpable spirit of peace, joy, goodwill, and love that fills the place up — and it’s a big place. Although I know that the music will be excellent, I’m heading back this year for a much-needed dose of what the spirit of Carols by Candlelight offers. Oh, and did I mention that proceeds from Carols by Candlelight benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation?

Tickets to Carols by Candlelight are selling like hot cakes, as they do every year. Get yours now before they’re sold out. Blog This Mom! readers can go to Carols by Candlelight and get tickets today. You’ll see me and my posse of Ya-Yas at the Saturday night performance. Also, check out the recent San Diego Union-Tribune article about my good friends Buck and BB.

See you at Carols by Candelight, Pardners!

  1. Hey Cheri if you still wpuldlike to go back stage just call Andrew on his cell and he will hook you up. He will not be there that night, but his assistant (yes he has one of those now)will get you all set up. Sorry we will miss out, but I will plan ahead to attend next year since you rave about it so. 🙂

Lurkers are welcome. Commenters are welcomer.
